Solo Swimming After Anchoring the Boat

There are a few beaches within Tokyo Bay that are difficult to access by land but are much easier to reach by boat.

Since there’s no one else around, I’ve been enjoying practicing diving off the boat after dropping anchor. It would be amazing to do a backflip, but even though it’s just into the water, diving backwards is pretty scary. Plus, when I hit the water, it can sting quite a bit.

Since I’m swimming alone, I take extra safety precautions to avoid being swept away by the tide or getting stranded. I make sure to maintain a wide safety margin so I don’t end up in the news.

As I mentioned in another post, this summer, I’ve decided to “have as much fun as I can, all the way until the end.”

I took some shots of my boat with a GoPro. Photo 1 shows my left hand cutting through the water, which I found quite interesting. It’s like an accidental piece of art… or so it feels.

…you can get back on board, just like in Photo 3.

Incidentally, I didn’t land on the beach that day, so according to Rikutsu-Kone-Tato’s Boat Fun Scoring System (click here for details), it was “a place you can only access by boat (C for 3 points),” “no landing (α for 0 points),” and “just playing around with no particular plan (Ⅲ for 3 points),” totaling 6 points with a C-α-Ⅲ score.

It was fairly enjoyable.

That’s all for now.
