Well, around the time I, Rikutsu-Kone-Taro, had driven about 2000 kilometers after delivery, I gradually became concerned about the rear view of the GR Yaris. (Come to think of it, maybe I felt a bit uneasy even before buying it…)
For readers who appreciate the aesthetics from a diagonal rear view to directly behind, whether it’s motorcycles or cars, I think there are quite a few.
In the case of the GR Yaris, Rikutsu-Kone-Taro is starting to feel a bit dissatisfied with the design and color placement of the rear fender’s rear end, rear spoiler, rear glass, turn signals and their accessories, diffuser, etc.
While I’d like to be captivated by the sight from a diagonal rear view of my beloved machine, it seems that the GR Yaris has some issues in that aspect.
I wonder if there are any owners of the GR Yaris who are satisfied with the design from a diagonal rear view to the rear? If there are, I apologize, but Rikutsu-Kone-Taro is a bit…
By the way, speaking from my own experience, I feel that cars that exude enthusiasm in appearance are more likely to be marked by the police during highway patrols.
Therefore, although it might look cool with flashy wings, it seems that putting them on might make you nervous about speeding on the highway, and that’s not good for mental health.
Struggling with the difficult problem of wanting to make the rear view of the GR Yaris look cool for self-satisfaction without attracting the attention of people who are not very interested in cars, RIkutsu-Kone-Taro spends his days folding his arms and humming while gazing at the rear view of the GR Yaris.
Then, one day, a flash of inspiration struck in his mind.
If I do this with that, and that with this, without spending too much money and without being marked by the police, can’t I make the rear view look cool as if it’s a completely different car…?
I got an idea!
I’ll report the results later!
That’s all for this time.
Postscript (August 1, 2021)
Now, the concern about the rear view of the GR Yaris. I want to report the results of my solution.
The only new addition was the installation of the Tom’s rear bumper duct.
Other than that, I had the rear spoiler, garnish, diffuser, and shark fin antenna cover painted in the same color as the body.
All the work was entrusted to GR Garage Kitaikebukuro.
Yeah! The diagonal rear view looks great.
Although the silhouette hasn’t changed at all, just changing the color of a few places has made it significantly cooler, at least that’s what RIkutsu-Kone-Taro feels.
I apologize to the designer of the GR Yaris, but I want to praise myself extravagantly. Click here for details on costs, etc.
What do you all think?
That’s all for this time.
